The surfing
paradox

Did you know that one polyurethane board, covered with epoxy resins and transported across the world, could produce the equivalent of 250kg of carbon dioxide, according to a study by the University of California, Berkley, US, and is likely to last only three to five years.

To make a comparison of how much a tree can absorb from CO2 (in an attempt to offset the excesses of its generation): a study estimates that tree absorbs 163.14 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2) over its first 20 years.

The Lifelong Wave Project® is an innovative start-up born to be a gamechanger in the field of water sports, making them sustainable  through the use of circular and innovative production models.

Its  purpose is to spread a culture of wellness, sharing, reuse, and recycle  to reduce the environmental and social impact of these sports to the  minimum. By doing so, it endorses the protection of the natural  resources and creates sustainable development for the community and  territories.

Our surfboard production is based on a circular  economy model: the raw material is sourced from  100% recycled materials.

At the end of their useful  life, the goods are properly disposed and the  plastic obtained from them is used to manufacture new goods, enabling a regenerative business  model.
